I have done both these things you guys have suggested already, which I should have said to begin with...I have replaced the speaker, the head, the speaker cable which attaches the speaker to the head, the 1/4 inch cable from the bass to the head, and the bass itself. All that remains is the particle board enclosure (JUST THE WOOD ITSELF!) that the speaker sits in. What I'm wondering is this: does anyone know of some sort of safety feature which might be interfering and cutting my signal because of some overheat problem I don't know about? It seems like that might be it, but if so I don't know how to go about fixing it, and there are really no good service centers around here. Thanks. |
