Richie{~}==:::	Re: My bass amp keeps cutting out!!! If i am reading this right.. you got an Ampeg head.. but are using it into the combo cabnet?? the one that was messing up? And you put in a New speaker..did you connect the wires to the ones coming from the combo cabnet jack? If it was me.. i'd get some good speaker cable.. even small lamp cord that you can buy at the hardware store..about 6 ft long should do. connect it to the speaker in the cab.. and have the other end with a 1/4 guitar plug at the end of it.. so you can plug it into the Ampeg.. that way you have nothing interferring.. a direct shot from Ampeg to Speaker..
