Bjorn | Problem solved Bruce and Steve, You were right on the money – It was the treble cap (brand new SM 390 pF). The vol. pot and bass pot measured 0.6 V, the treble pot measured 180 V. I changed the SM and – like magic – the problem was gone. Steve suggested that I tried the caps (when removed) for DC resistance – How do I do that? What can I say – Thank you! Bjorn |
