Re: ampeg rocker switches
John,

Do you have the switch in front of you, or have any numbers/manufacturer info from the switch body? You could go to newark.com and type 'rocker switch' into the 'Description' field of the search engine - I just did this and got back a ton of items (the catalog has pictures, but not all the items on the web site have .html catalog downloads available). Now, if you can just order the thing without them trying to sell you compressed air, tie-wraps, or a new 'scope, you'll be stylin'. Another source might be St. Louis Music (800) 738-7563, www.crateamps.com - this is the only url I have. I heard they will be coming out with a reissue of the original SVT soon. Gregg Hopkins at Vintage Amp Restorations (E-mail vintageamp@aol.com, (314) 631-5030) may also be able to help you out. There is more info here in the back of the Ampeg book about New York and New Jersey Ampeg techs - let me know if this would be of any help.
