I had a 2X12 Hot Rod Deville a couple of years ago. Mine had a bias pot from the factory. It's possible yours does too. Do you have the original manuals that came with it? The schematic, if I remember correctly, has the test point and proper voltage/current spelled out on it. They use the 1 ohm cathode resistor method for the measurement. Hope this helps!
