| Ray Ivers | Re: Removing spkrs from Marshall 4x12 cab Here's what I would do: Remove the two left (or two right) speakers. Move the remaining bottom speaker to the top empty hole, keeping the wiring just as it is (you may have to fiddle around rotating both speakers if the wires are real short, like they usually are). Cut and install two plywood discs to cover the empty holes. Set the mono-stereo switch to stereo, 8 ohms, and use whichever speaker jack works. Yes, it involves a little work, but you will be rewarded with a lightweight, incredible-sounding cab with lots of bass, and a little less volume. By all means, try it out! Ray Ivers R.A.G.E.
