andyfuchs | Re: Kager RMS control It wasn't so much the added pot, as it was the pot not really doing much. I found myself ( and many customers) using it up or down, and not much in the middle. A pull pot master is nice for saving space. On Fenders, the polarity switch hole is a nice place to sneak it in too. Yes, Dennis's amps had a few cute tricks to them. The RMS pot always puzzled me until Dennis showed the schematic to me. Super-Simple and effective. The 'governor' pot on the other hand (no matter how simple) sounded like dirt.... af |
