He did a Dumble-esque mod to the bass channel and made the normal channel a standard AA864. It was the AB165 circuit before he got it. I had to nag the hell out of him to get it done and back to me but it is now a frigging tone monster. The bass channel has a very nice, smooth dumble/marshall vibe. I highly recommend his work, however, I don't think he's doing mods himself anymore because he's too busy cranking out Hotplates. I can't speak for him but he would probably be willing to explain what he does with Bassman heads. I think he's been doing this particular mod for a while. It's definitely worth checking out.
