I would take it to a tech to give it a once over and check tubes, bias, caps etc. I think the bandmaster puts out about 40-45 watts. Plenty of power for most gigs. IMHO you can't go wrong with a nice clean fender amp , and when you need some distortion you can add you favorite box. JCS
