Ethan	How to set JMP for Ultimate tone (Zep meets Halen) Here's the trick for ultimate tone. This is the best, trust me. Set up the amp to use 6550's. Don't let people tell you that EL34's sound better. Purchase or build your own "Screaming Tree" by Electro Harmonix. Using a good guitar with a good humbucker, plug into the the "screaming Tree" then into the high gain bass channel of the marshall. Crank the volume all the way up and put all tone controls in the middle. This sounds especially good with a good lespaul and PAF reissue's. -ethan
