Tweed Bandmaster Opinions

Joe Zuzze	Tweed Bandmaster Opinions Just curious as to your opinions on the 5E7 Bandmaster. I've never gotten a chance to play through this curcuit. Everyone loves the "Won't get fooled again" tone, but I'm especially interested in how it compares to the 5F6A. I realize the bassman will be louder and cleaner, but I would love the most bass thump in the smallest tweed package possible. I wonder if changing the cathode cap off the 1st stage to 220uf would make it as bassy as the 5F6A, but with more crunch. Right now it's a toss up for the next DIY project. Given that the bassman would not cost too much more than the bandmaster,I am looking for good reasons to build this less heralded smaller sibling. Thanks. Joe
