josh | Re: Removing a tube to allow for more out of an amp So, if I have a 4-power-tube, 100-watt Marshall, and I want to run it at 50 watts, I should (1) yank either the 2 inner or 2 outer tubes (2) change the impedance selector to half the actual load (or is it double?) But do I really have to rebias the thing? |
