Just bringing this back up to the top. BTW I have been testing this amp with different speakers and cabinets and it sound a little dull on the high end. Most of my set ups sound bright. Would the lower plate voltage on the pre amp tubes effect the tone in this way ? Any input is welcome. Thanks JCS
