JCS	Re: disconnecting the tone stack Today I used the A/B box to switch between normal (lifted tone stack) and vibrato (standard blaceface clean)on the BFD no reverb. Played it at home for about 20 min. Its sounds great, the normal channel has a great tweed type sound, more gain and mids. Great sustain and sag from this channel.(running a 5r4 rectifier) And the vibrato channel on this amp always had a great clean sound, no extra gain stage for reverb. Mixing the channels sounded good to you get the midrange grind mixed with some sparkle, so I have three usable sounds.
