The Valve Arts have a liquidy sound that distorts easily. They are bottom heavy, at the expense of your chimey high end. The Vibrolux needed help in the lows, so I have stuck with them even though it is a compromise. The GTs sounded a little better to me, more balanced, and more towards a traditional 6L6 sound, but a great sound. The set I tried were not balanced at all. I have heard many stories about this with Groove Tubes, the guys that built their reputation on balancing power tubes. GouxMan
