I think he was still just sort of playing around with amps as a hobby in '90-'91 or so. I remember he had an advertisement as an amptech in the austin chronicle about then. They were claiming to be miracle amp workers. I called the ad # there in about '91, and talked to him. I asked for the hours that I could bring an amp in and he responded with an enthusiastic, "WE come in early!!! and STAY late!!!" I finally pinned that down to about 10a-4p.
