Dual rectifiers not needed for 100W amps?

Steve Ahola	Dual rectifiers not needed for 100W amps?     I had thought that a single rectifier could not handle the current draw for a 4-6L6 amp... which was why they used diodes in their Twin Reverb. And then Mesa came out with their 100W Dual Recto amps using two recto tubes.         Or did I stay home when this topic was discussed in class?     --Thanks!     Steve Ahola
