My point was to be able to easily A/B the NFB vs. no-NFB setup, but the switch goes IN SERIES with the feedback wire, between it and the RC components.  
 
Only switch in standby or power-off states!  
 
It's possible (just) that there's a sound you can't live without in each position of that switch.  
 
Didn't somebody think of having multiple feedback RC combinations? - you'd need an ON-OFF-ON SPDT with common to the wire and the other two terminals going to the two RC's.  
 
I'm not sure I've been any clearer, so PLEASE ask again if you need to.
