I'd say that if you're amp is low powered and the resistors would'nt cost that much, go and try it but if you're using like a 100watt amp those huge resistors are going to cost some money, and in that case you might as well buy some speakers. BTW, if you use the resistors, Don is right, they get VERY hot, so make sure they have air around them and they're not touching anything. Ricky
