He can fill you in on what he actually did, but boy it sounds fantastic! I had a '79 2204 that I changed over to EL34's to try and capture that Marshall Magic, but did no other mods (because I didn't know how) and I wasn't too happy. I ended up selling it. But, the difference between the two are night and day!
