The bass has the exact same circuitry as the lead preamp with distort... and the tone controls were stolen from the 2000s. The other transistors in mine, preamp wise are BC107B's, and yes, all are socketed. Pretty easy to work on. But you are right about those spade lugs... vibration and bad connections occasionally. I should make them solid also....
