Also I would have guessed he still lived in Highland Park; at least he did for sure a year or so ago because I called him on the phone and the line was working... But maybe he's kept that same old number for voicemail purposes? Regarding the new amps, I understand they will be cheaper because they will incorporate some solid state technology. Dumble had apparently complained that amps like the Overdrive Special took too long to build and tweak, and that he wanted something easier to build that would retain the Dumble signature tone. Gil |
