Often, after you install new tubes in amp if the new tubes ahve slightly smaller pin diameters the connection in the socket will be poor. You can fix it by retensioning the tube sockets. Make sure the amp is unplugged and the caps are discharged first. I use a sharp probe with an insulated handle.
