Doc | Re: 12AV7? I've used the 12AV7 in place of the standard 12AT7 phase inverter tube in a late model SF Twin Reverb. It seems to roughen up the sound a bit. (That's for a direct plug-in substitution, without changing the resistor values set up for 12AT7 circuit.) It's a good driver tube. Doc |
