MikeZ	Re: Mesa Dual Rectifier my friend has a mesa dual rectifier blue angel, which had both el34's and 6l6's, each power section can be selected alone, or linked, so this makes for easy comparisons. the 6l6's have a smoother tone, much more bluesy with very sweet low mids and bass, while el34's have a much more trebly, harsher sound. dont get me wrong, there isnt a huge huge difference, and they both sound very good...
