i had 3 of them, one which i still own. i think they're about the best amp for the money out there. the last one i bought used was $200, the other 2 i bought new, one for $350 and the other for $270. so you can get them quite cheap if you look around and bargin with the them, private party or used. i highly recommend them, as after owning 3 i haven't had any problems, and the sound is in the same ballpark as many more expensive amps.and they cam be made to sound even better with good tubes. definatly get some good output tubes as the sovteks that come in them are horrid. try some EI's for the preamp to get a smoother richer sound. JJ 84's work great in the power section. if i had to use only a c 30 for the rest of my life i could easily live with that. it just works well sonically.
