| Benjamin | Re: 6V6s at High Voltage: Opinions? Gil, All the amps I have built with 6V6's seemed to have the optimum tone between 380-400vdc on the plates in my opinion. I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't like the sound when the plates were more than 400VDC...... they just loose that cream tone. How does your's sound when biased in the range you liked?
