Randy	Re: Tweed deluxe clone with a special transformer??? The voltages from a blackface deluxe are much higher,which will cause the bias relationship to be off at the very least. Since the tweed deluxe was cathode biased this may require a change in the bias resitor. Other voltages in the amp will be off and there is a risk that some of the caps will be under spec if your clone is an exact copy. Better bet, see Doug Hoffman and get a nice repro tranny for the tweed and get the tweed tone down. Save the BF deluxe tranny for a BF clone or put it in some other amp.
