They would probably work OK in a Tweed Pro, even taking into account that plate voltages are going to be a bit higher now due to line voltages being usually around 120VAC instead of the 110VAC that was commonplace 40-50 years ago. In fact, 6L6GB was the stock tube in earlier Pros (first narrow panel ones came out in 1955). I think they later came with Tung-Sol 5881's as did the Bassmans.
I definitely wouldn't use 6L6GB in an amp that put more than 450 volts on the plates, however.
