Weber's and 12AX7LPS

Dan	Weber's and 12AX7LPS A few months ago I put a Weber P8R in my '65 Champ. I expected a break in period, and in the mean time I experimented with some different tubes. The speaker seemed like it was never going to be right, then after about 6 weeks I pulled the 12AX7LPS, replaced it with a 12AX7wxt. What a difference, I liked the Weber after that. Recently I tried another 12AX7LPS, same as the last time, it sounds awful. The LPS sounds good in my Deluxe with a Mojo M12V30. Anybody else noticing that Weber's and LPS's don't mix well?
