DaveK	Re: Ampeg VL-501 Hey Jim,you might want to take a look at the Bogner designed Hafler Triple Giant schematic.The brown channel is very nice!A few years ago I modded a 501 to the brown circuit and it sounded pretty damn good.The stock 501 circuit is not far off from the brown channel,so major changes(cutting traces) aren't required.Providing you can deal with modern pc board construction,and be aware the traces in the 501 lift fairly easily,it was worth doing.
