MikeZ | Re: Optimal Bias Voltage for Class AB I have a typical marhshall 50w setup... two svetlana el34's. plate voltage, you got me there, im not near the thing now but ill have to check. all i can say is im using the 50W marshall power tranny i bought from Doug Hoffman. i believe the b+ is like 430...i should know this shouldnt i. i belive the plates (the 3rd or 4th pins the the el34's) are at basically the same voltage. i will get back to you on this. i dont have a master vol on there now but i am going to add one. i do like to play concerts on the "brink" of power tube distortion however, so i will be cranking the thing. thanks for the help.. |
