1/2 power switch question

dale	1/2 power switch question my marshall jubilee has a triode/pentode switch. i have 2 questions about it. 1]-if i use it at 1/2 power, will the bias current change and would it be good to bias it in 1/2 power mode if i was gonna use it that way mostly? 2]-if the bias is indeed not optimized at 1/2 pwr, is that part of the reason for the lesser high end? i know that running in triode mode causes the softer hi end, but i'm wondering if it's also partially the bias also adding to it since the amp is biased in full power mode. tanks,-dale
