I'm going to stick a 470K in it tomorrow and if that doesn't do it I'm going to give up and go another route. I really don't get it, many a great amp has used this method to tame gain with good results. mine is not wired in any strange way, so, I dont know why its not working. If you can see if it works for you I would appriciate it Ricky
