Dale,

I had one of my typical long-winded replies almost ready to go to you last night, and then AOL decided to log me off (I guess keystrokes don't count as on-line activity).

Anyway, thanks very much for the compliment, Dale. I really enjoy doing this stuff. I think it's just great that guitarists have a place to go now to ask questions and (hopefully) have them answered. Even on the threads that might dead-end with no solution, everybody still learned from it - so none of it is really wasted, you think?

I downloaded the Peavey schematic, and just at a glance it does seem to have tons of RC networks. I forgot to mention that each cathode bypass also represents an RC network, and thus also has a phase shift associated with it.

To be honest, I think this problem might be best lived with, although like any amp problem it CAN be fixed, with enough time and energy put into it. The solution is probably in the Peavey, if anywhere, although if the Jubilee is out-of-phase with every other amp I could see why that might be something an owner would want rectified.
