Gil Ayan	Thanks to all! But... I can't help wondering, there has to be a very trivial product to use ON THE WIRES -- which is the only thing I am trying to do here. I can't believe that Fender went to the tedious steps of mixing wax and praffin, etc., just to hold the ends of the cloth wire from whiskering. I do certainly appreciate everyone's input, and I guess I will have to make a trip to the hardware store and sdo a little experimentation. Cheers, Gil
