dale | Re: Phase and Polarity ray, you know, i think this is getting a bit too involved for me, and i don't want to cause you to waste so much time and effort trying to help me with this. tho i gotta say i'm impressed at your willingness to help, and appriciate it more than you know. so let me just post a classic 30 schematic you can look at if you'd like, and if theres nothing there that makes a light bulb go on, don't worry about it. after all, i've owned a lot of marshalls and i'm much happier with this one than the others. the only reason i even brought it up is because someone mentioned it, and at the 2nd gig i did with it i noticed a very slight lower mid hollowness that reminded me of the out of phase tone you get reversing p/u's, and when i heard about the phase thing with jubilees, i thought of that sound i got. but the fact is, it has more lows than my other marshalls and the hollowness i mentioned was actually very slight, and only noticable occasionally at certain guitar vol and p/u settings. so while i believe that it's possible this could be happening, i'm not worried about it, i just figured that if it IS happening, and i could make it better, why not? so heres the pv schematic if you want to check it out, but don't spend too much time on this. and once again thanks a million, you're the best ! http://www.ampage.org/blueguitar/c30schem.gif>http://www.ampage.org/blueguitar/c30schem.gif |
