It will make a pretty big difference The value usually drops when you retolex the amp so if you ever want to sell it I would advise against it. If you plan on keeping it then run with it! If you still want to mod it after the recapping then just hollar! I have some cool tips and I'm sure everyone here does as well.     Trace
