dale	Re: Best bias rule of thumb? 70 has always been safe for me at least. i wouldn't go over that tho. and recently i've been going a bit lower just to be safer and easier on the tubes because it doesn't seem to adversly effect tone. so what i do is drop it down a bit, and if it sounds the same i'll leave it there or even go lower till it affects tone quality, then bring it back up to the last place it sounded good. dale
