Fender Champ cutting out

Phil | Fender Champ cutting out I acquired a Fender Champ amp that is cutting out and so I took it apart and found that the 470 ohm - 1 watt resistor and the 25 micro Farad - 25 volt capacitor in parallel with it had both blown completely apart (no wonder it had been smoking a bit). It still works !! Cutting in and out badly though. If I replace those two is that likely to fix it or will I just be fixing the symptoms not the main problem? |
