There were only 5 or 6 wires so it was no big deal. BTW the ribbon cables in that amp are a lot thicker and stiffer than the stuff used in computers. They do sell ribbon cable in the local parts houses. I used to buy the multi-color cable for making up guitar harnesses... Steve Ahola P.S.
