I have a Crate VC30 which is basically an AC30 clone. It sounds great at low to mid volumes, but at higher volumes starts to sound a little grainy. I believe it's due to the wimpy OT they put in there. If I can find a good AC30 OT at a good price (suggestions?) I think it might turn this amp into a monster. Dave Rich
