JR	Re: Menatone... i've had more od/pedals on my board over the years than i care to admit...thought i'd found it with an FDII...came to the realization(duh!)that some pedals work better with 6L6 amps,and some pedals work better with EL34 amps(can't comment on 6v6 and el84's..don't own any!)the FDII seemed to hide my Hiwatt's EL34 tone,tries to make it sound more like a 6L6... ....anyway menatone pedals are doing it for me right now...seems to preserve AND enhance the tone of my Hiwatts,plus gives a RICH boost(enhances some really nice frequencies)... that ptp.circuit inside the box is the neatest piece of work...using the King Of Britains currently...am dying to get a hold of a red snapper for a lower gain boost... jr.
