I like to goose the input of my Marshall with a 'clean boost' from my SD-1 super overdrive. I keep the tone at 12 O'clock, Volume full up and the gain at zero. This gives me just a little extra bit of sustain and punch for leads without fuzzing out my basic tone. It works for me, anyway. :^B
