John Fisher	Re: how many of you guys OD pedals? I do a lot of recording with my guitar. For a while I used a faily expensive Digiteck processor with a million sounds. After builing my tube amp I hardly ever use the processor anymore. There is just something about the interacion of the guitar and the input of the amp that you just don't want to put anything in between it. I guess it also depends on what sound you are looking for. I have a master volume control on my amp when I want distortion that I'm really happy with but I sometimes use my TS-9 clone that I built which I really like. I purposely put in an effects loop (that also has a true bypass switch) for any other effects so I won't be forced to put an effects module between the guitar and the amp which I believe is critical.
