how many of you guys OD pedals?

| Ricky | how many of you guys OD pedals? how many of you just plug into amps and play? what kind of OD/dist/fuzz do you use if any? the reason I ask is because I recently built my own amp using the highest quality parts I could find, carbon comps, claro pots, hammond choke and PT, Mojo tweed OT, and Weber AlNiCo speaker. I realized that a lot of the pedals I used previously, TS-9, big muff,compressor and such really gunked up the amp's natural tone and vibe so, I got rid of them. I really missed having a boost/OD option however, so I got a Matchless Dirtbox. This seemed to be the perfect solution, natural tube sounding preamp with true bypass. so, what do you guys use? |
