Benjamin	Hum help........... Ricky, Here are some other causes of hum: Not having your input and speaker out jack(s)isolated from the chassis. Lead dress placement of the grid wires to close to plate wires. Not using star grounding methods (using the chassis as a ground return path) Remember to ground your secondary PT center tap to the - connection of the first filter cap in your PS. Here are some other causes of hum:

Not having your input and speaker out jack(s)isolated from the chassis.

Lead dress placement of the grid wires to close to plate wires.

Not using star grounding methods (using the chassis as a ground return path)
Remember to ground your secondary PT center tap to the - connection of the first filter cap in your PS.

AC ripple in the PS due to inadequate filtering.
