Nasty distortion in..

Lars	Nasty distortion in.. my Bluesbreaker. Last week I change power Tubes from Sovtek 6L6 to Sovtek EL34. I have played with it since but Yesterday when i played with the volume on channel 1, between 1 and 2 and with a LesPaul modell, I heard some nasty distortion when I played hard at the low E-string. When i increase the volume to 3 and over I can't say I hear the nasty distrortion anymore. When I change the tubes I connected pin 1 and 8 via 1ohm (for the bias measurement) to ground and change the screen resistor from 470 ohm/5watt to 1kohm/5watt, I set the bias to 35mA with 407 Volt at pin 3. Have I done somthing wrong or what could have happend. ???? Lars
