I assume you mean Mullard EL34's and 12AX7's...meaning what is our opinion? If so, I love the Mullard EL34's but they are might hard to get!!! I'm that crazed about the 12AX7's though and I can't nail it down. They do not seem as "magical" as the EL34's are.

Trace, I think he means the Yugoslavia "Ei" 12AX7 tubes. I bought a truckload a couple of years ago and they sound great; some were pretty noisy and I therefore labeld them "PI" to be used in the PI position only. I don't know whether you can still get these, but they used to be dirt cheap from New Sensor.
