If you have the short transformer, you're taking a risk of burning up the 5 volt winding. If you want more sag than a 5AR4 supplies but want to be safe on the 5 volt winding, try a 5V4 or a 5Y3. It would be a shame to burn up your PT as a result of dinking around. My 69 PR has the 125P1B short tranny, and it uses the 5AR4. I think 125P1A was used in the brownface Princetons. I just worked on a late 70s Princeton that has the tall tranny and a 5U4.
